I had already bought this bib before for my dog a Jack Russell Terrier with Chihuahua (which weighs 4.5kg and is short) but in size M. As I thought maybe size S would suit him better, I asked for it. I recommend the size S for small chihuahuas (if you have a Chihuahua of the minis, go for a size XS because with size S you can get out).
