The product arrived very quickly and was well-packaged. Installation on an outdoor Colorbond gate was straightforward. It performs well, with quick reading of prox cards and codes. However, there’s a minor issue: pressing the first digit of the code only activates the backlight, requiring you to press it again before entering the rest of the code. While not a major problem, it is slightly inconvenient. Another concern is the lock’s outdoor rating. I expected it to be suitable for outdoor use, but with a switch and lamp that allow water into the enclosure, it doesn’t seem to be. I used silicone to seal the problem areas, but it’s uncertain how long this solution will last.
